Vidyadhar:- The most
notable gardens of the city are thus Vidyadhar
Garden, dedicated to the chief architect
of the city, Sisodia Rani Ka Bagh, built
by the Raja for his Sisodia queen and
Kanak Vrindavan Valley with its famous
temple of Govind Deoji dedicated to Lord
Krishna.
Kanak Vrindavan Valley
The vast complex of well developed and
planned gardens along with an exquisitely
and intricately carved beige stone temple
with its marble columns and lattices,
it is situated in the foothills of Nahargarh
hills as we proceed from Jaipur to Amer.
The sights are so beautiful that it is
a preferred place for picnics and shooting
of films. Kanak Vrindavan Valley definitely
leaves a noticeable impression as one
visits the complex enroute on a trip to
the three garland forts of Jaipur, namely
Nahargarh Fort, Jaigarh Fort and Amber
Fort.
Vidyadhar Gardens:-
A beautiful vineyard situated very near
the famous Sisodia Gardens of Jaipur,
Vidyadhar Gardens is perhaps the best-preserved
garden of Jaipur. Named after Vidyadhar
Bhatacharjee, the celebrated architect
and town planner of Jaipur, it is tastefully
situated in a narrow valley, thus, offering
it the advantage of being surrounded by
lush green mountains that provide some
of the most exotic views of the region
and are certainly a credit to the eyes
of the beholder.
